Raising voice and funds for Palestine, all proceeds of the sale of these songs will be donated to Medical Aid for Palestinians and UNRWA.
Despite the horrors we have seen unfold, the genocide of the Palestinian people in Gaza, the second Nakba, and the ongoing apartheid and opportunistic cruelty in the West Bank, I try to maintain faith. Faith that hardened hearts will soon soften from the weight of the knowledge of what is being done in their name, that they will speak out, no longer allowing dogma to justify it, that they will demand change. Demand humanity, equal rights, justice, freedom and peace for all. That they choose life over lies. Choose humanity over hate. Never again, for all.
From the River Jordan to the Mediterranean Sea, Palestinians should be as free as you and I! They should be free to live in peace, in a just society where they may raise their children without fear. They should be free to govern themselves, to supply water to their own people. Free to travel, to visit family and the land on which their ancestors are buried. Free to work and trade, to tend their flock and harvest their olives, in peace. One man’s freedom should not mean the oppression of another. Again. One man’s freedom should not mean the oppression of another.
Until Palestine is free, none of us will be free.
We call for an immediate CEASEFIRE, to stop the genocide of the Palestinian People, and to return the hostages who have survived the indiscriminate air attacks of the Israeli Occupation Forces. Do what you can; raise a voice, a flag, support those who are doing so. Share the message of this music, put pressure on your government, protest, care enough.
All proceeds from the sale of this song, rework and remix will be donated; split between UNRWA and Medical Aid for Palestinians. Please donate what you can.
UNRWA, the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestinian Refugees in the Near East is a Palestinian and Jordan-based charity which provides assistance and protection for Palestinian refugees. Although supported by the UN, they are dependent on voluntary donations. They have been responsible for accepting and distributing humanitarian aid and their schools have been a lifeline to the people of Gaza, providing them with much-needed shelter. UNRWA human development and humanitarian services encompass primary and vocational education, primary health care, relief and social services, infrastructure and camp improvement, microfinance and of course emergency response, including in situations of armed conflict, which many charities are unable to do. UNRWA, have tragically lost over 80 staff during October/November 2023 as they have continued to serve the people of Gaza, and many of their schools and services through the Gaza Strip have been damaged.
lyrics
Justice for all
Freedom for all
There is love in your heart
deeper than you’ve been taught
Search within
Seek your own truth
Our children need you to
Never again for all
Never again for all
Brothers, sisters walked together before
May we not close our hearts
Choose one another
ya Ghaza (Oh Gaza)
ya Ghaza
Ahna Falestine (We are Palestine)

Like so many others, this came like a bolt out of the blue and, even though it's well before payday, I had to have this astonishing album on vinyl to prove it exists. The feel of the tunes makes me feel like the Impressions do, Curtis Mayfield, the big spaces and instinctive horns and stuff drifting in and out. Great grooves and I can see lots of ghosts nodding along to this with big smiles on their faces. At last! Anthony Cottrell
On this sprawling double LP, the South African drummer leads his band through a series of mournful and vibrantly melodic spiritual jazz compositions. Bandcamp Album of the Day Jul 6, 2020
Great album! A crossover jazz-r'nb-african trip from continent to continent. London does it again. Nyubian Twist with more jazz overtones. John Woodward
